and to celebrateour differences. Through their delivery of live presentations, videos, workshops
and a social network devoted to sharing acts of love and kindness, youth will be provided with a
safe haven to grow into compassionate adults. As we open our hearts and our minds we can and will
change the world for the better, one kind act at a time.

African American Youth Harvest Foundation
The African American Youth Harvest Foundation (AAYHF) was founded to provide resources to
underserved, at-risk youth and their families in Austin and outlying areas. AAYHF saw there was a gap
that needed to be filled and worked tirelessly with community partners and parents who were
truly concerned about the barriers that not only affect the minority populations of Austin but children
of all races, religions and socioeconomic backgrounds. Their vision is to continue to grow in order
to transition youth and their families who are in crisis into an end goal of self-sufficiency.

Abundant Life Community Development Corporation- Life Kidz AfterSchool Program
Low school achievement and national research studies indicate that risky adolescent behavior occurs
most often between 3 and 6 pm. ALCDC- Life Kidz AfterSchool Program believes that in today’s society
where latchkey children, whose parent(s) work later in the evenings, are vulnerable to risky behaviors.
They address this issue by offering a combined academic & enrichment after school program that target all youth.
