AUSTIN SPURS ACQUIRE JULIAN WASHBURN

AUSTIN (Nov. 20, 2023) – The Austin Spurs today announced that they have acquired forward Julian Washburn. In a corresponding roster move, Austin has waived Demetre Roberts.

Washburn, 6-8/205, played for the London Lions for the 2021-22 season and in 40 games he averaged 8.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 31.2 minutes. In the 2018-19 season, Washburn played in 18 games for the Memphis Grizzles and averaged 2.2 points and 2.3 rebounds.

The Duncanville, Texas native returns to the Silver and Black after being a part of Austin’s 2018 Championship team where he averaged 5.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 50 games.
