AUSTIN, Texas (March 4, 2020) – The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, today announced that they will host Go Texas Night on Friday, March 6 when the team takes on the Northern Arizona Suns at 7:30 p.m. and their annual Hoops N Hounds game on Sunday, March 8 when the team faces the Oklahoma City Blue at 4 p.m.
Go Texas Night will celebrate all things Texas. Fans are encouraged to show their Texas pride by wearing anything they associate with the Lone Star State. The game will feature Texas-themed entertainment.
The Hoops N Hounds game in partnership with Cedar Park Overhead Doors is a chance for fans to bring their four-legged friends to the game. The team will wear specialty jerseys that will be signed and auctioned off with net proceeds benefiting Texas Humane Heroes. Fans will be able to cast their bids from Wednesday, March 4 at noon until Sunday, March 8 at 5:30 p.m. Fans can text “Spurs” to 76278 to register for the auction.
Fans can purchase tickets with up to two dogs included starting at $15. Check in for dogs will be at the north entrance of the arena. Dog owners are required to sign a safety waiver and provide proof of up-to-date shots and spaying or neutering in order to receive tickets. Aggressive dogs and retractable leashes will not be allowed. There will be a designated dog-friendly section at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, as well as a pet relief station outside the arena.
